![]() His family, along with many others, was taken away to be observed in Firewall Solitary. However, it was too late to stop the infection, so the infection was irreversible.Įventually, Encrypto's family was becoming corrupt too, due to Encrypto's interaction with them. The peoples realized that their computer was starting to be infected. The first few weeks passed by, and nobody had really ever seen appearance changes in the population, but after the next few weeks, inhabitants started noticing cube-like objects sprouting out of some of the citizens. However, what Encrypto didn't know, was that the group of Cupiditas-Ware had corrupted him, and they let him free so that he could spread the infection unknowingly. Encrypto amazingly managed to, and was let out. The once disguised Cupiditas-Ware grabbed him, and said that they'd let him free if he just calmed down. Encrypto figured out that this was a trap, and he was soon cornered. When they got into a dark and closed place, the disguised Cupiditas-Ware quickly revealed his true identity.Įncrypto attempted to escape, but bumped into yet another Cupiditas-Ware. When they reached the destination, Encrypto had become a little worried, as the surroundings were colored red, a color that was very significant to the corruptions to what he believed were legends. When Encrypto told him that he should tell the rest of his family, the disguised Cupiditas-Ware quickly interrupted him and told him to just open his window to get out and go with him. The disguised Cupiditas-Ware told Encrypto that he needed to come with him, to a safe place to avoid these potential corruptions. Encrypto was foolish during this time, so he obviously thought it was a regular Aurum-Gram. He looked out the window and saw a disguised Cupiditas-Ware. But then suddenly, Encrypto woke up to this sudden thud. One night, a relatively quite one, Encrypto was sleeping in his house which was inhabited with the rest of his family. However, that all changed once sightings of these corruptions started happening.Įncrypto however, was oblivious towards this. He had always thought that life was perfect and thought the scary corruptions from the tales he heard from old and wise War Aurum-Grams were myths. Encrypto was a friendly and kind Aurum-Gram. Once upon a time, in a relatively peaceful Kinsukori-Computer. However, he wasn't always like this.Įncrypto has a Cape-Like thing and wears the crown of Princess Miranda. He is notorious for being quite a jerk and thirsty for blood and power. Encrypto is a Stage 3 Cupiditas-Ware corrupted Aurum-Gram. This article originally ran in Today’s Cybersecurity Leader, a monthly cybersecurity-focused eNewsletter for security end users, brought to you by Security magazine. As companies continue to expand into the cloud, this comes as welcome news. It eliminates the human psychology gaps in security and makes encryption easier to use without reducing performance. EaaS removes the barriers for cloud service users to have a strong encryption program. It not only secures important data by making it useless to criminals, but also frees up security staff time for other tasks. The new encryptionĮncryption is necessary but can be tricky, especially without a cryptography background. ![]() In a nutshell, this means that security leaders can focus on other operations while simultaneously reducing liabilities and workloads. ![]() With a solid security framework that includes being encrypted end-to-end, security teams can trust that their data is safe because it is always encrypted - which means, even in the case of a breach, that data is useless to cyberattackers. However, if EaaS is not incorporated in security plans from day one, it will be costlier (both financially and timewise) along the way and can have significant consequences in terms of loss of revenue, reputational damage and more. Encrypting enterprise data can reduce the impact of a data breach. But it can be a critical element in the fight against cybercrime, as data is never in plaintext again, even in case of a hack, disclosure or ransomware attack. On its own, EaaS will not save the world from all bad actors. Encryption reduces liabilities and workloads. ![]() For companies, this builds greater peace of mind, as they can avoid the constant adaptation to threats, as data is always encrypted and therefore useless to intruders. EaaS can bridge the security gap caused by human psychology, becoming preventative instead of reactive and exceeding current security standards. ![]()
